NEW YORK, NY – October 10, 2019 Chairman and CEO, Steven Francesco is pleased to announce the name change to emphasize the company’s new vision of Cybersecurity protective services. The new name reflects the elevation of its Cybersecurity offerings, as well as marks a new chapter in Cohere’s growth and evolution as a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP).
Cohere’s mission is to become a single-source for managing and protecting its customers’ IT assets as well as meeting the challenges of the ever-changing compliance landscape. Mr. Francesco explains, “We will continue to be a full-fledged provider of IT managed services, but with a deeper focus on Cyber intrusion, detection and protection.”
With end-to-end managed Cybersecurity services, Cohere’s customers will receive 360° protection as well as real-time response competitively priced for any size business. With each of the states developing its own stringent Cybersecurity regulations, compliance has become almost impossible to fulfill with in-house resources. The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, California Emergency Services Act, New York Department of Financial Services Cybersecurity Regulation, and New York Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security Act (SHIELD Act) are expected to become leading benchmarks for other states to follow.
“It is no secret that Cybersecurity has become a major operational and financial challenge to many companies,” states Mr. Francesco. According to Gartner, Cyber-crime has pushed information security spending to more than $86.4 billion in 2017 and Cybersecurity Business Report Projects Cyber-crime damage costs to hit $6 trillion annually by 2021.
Under the new name, Cohere will focus on providing businesses access to a more comprehensive security framework. Cohere customers and its strategic partners will continue to benefit from the company’s core IT services while also gaining access to the latest Cybersecurity solutions. “As a company with its roots in cloud-based technologies, we are committed to delivering breakthrough solutions that will address all the bases in the Cyber protective realm”. Mr. Francesco continues, “Cohere has always focused on its customers’ needs and, with the offering of a new suite of Cybersecurity services, remains committed to protecting its customers’ from attackers”.
Forthcoming releases will announce a fully integrated SIEM Offering — an all-encompassing framework to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate Cyber-attacks as well as new strategic partnerships.
